Keyboard Indicators
Play/Pause Button Press this button to begin playing an audio CD,
a DVD movie or digital audio files. This button
also acts as a Pause button.

Stop/Eject Button Stops playing the CD, DVD or digital audio. Also
ejects a disc from the tray.

Next Button Skips forward to the next track, chapter or digital
file. Refer to Chapter 4, Operating Basics , for

Previous Button Skips backwards to the previous track, chapter or

Arrow Mode Numeric Mode Caps lock
Arrow Mode When the Arrow mode icon lights green, you can
use the keypad overlay (light gray labeled keys)
as cursor keys. Refer to the Keypad overlay
section in Chapter 5, The Keyboard .
Numeric Mode You can use the keypad overlay (light gray
labeled keys) for numeric input when the
Numeric mode icon lights green. Refer to the
Keypad overlay section in Chapter 5, The
Keyboard .
