TIP
• The file names after division become
“File name_1” for the first half and “File
name_2” for the latter half.
NOTE
• [File Divide] can be performed only
when the file list is displayed.
• The recorder cannot divide files when
the number of files in the folder
exceeds 999.
• Locked files (
☞ P.66) cannot be
divided.
• It may not be possible to divide some
MP3 or PCM files with extremely short
recording times.
• To prevent the risk of data damage,
never attempt to remove the battery
during dividing a file.
