You can delete pictures you do not need.
Set the Mode dial to , and
display the picture you want
to erase.
Press the Erase button to
display

Press the OK button with YES
selected to erase the picture.
• To cancel, select NO using the
right arrow on the jog dial and
press the OK, or simply press
the Erase button.
• One-Frame erase is also
available in the Index-Display
mode (p. 110) and the Close-
Up display mode (p. 111).

Caution:
• Never open the card cover, eject the card, remove the batteries, or pull
the plug while erasing pictures. It may destroy the data in the card.
• When the picture is protected or the write-protect adhesive seal is
placed on the card, the camera does not enter the Erase mode. Either
cancel the protection or remove the seal in order to erase pictures. (Do
not use the seal again.)
