Calls cannot be made
Symptom Possible cause Remedy
Nothing can be heard from the
connected telephone. Is the cord from the telephone
connected correctly to the
machine? Correctly connect the tele-
phone cord to the machine.
Is the telephone cord from the
wall jack connected correctly
to the machine? Correctly connect the tele-
phone cord from the wall jack
to the machine.
A communication is being
performed. Check again after the commu-
nication is finished.
After dialing, the ringing can-
not be heard. Has the telephone dialing sys-
tem been set correctly? Correctly set the telephone di-
aling system.
After on-hook dialing, it is dif-
ficult to hear the recipient/
caller’s voice. Has the monitoring volume
been set too low? Increase the monitoring vol-
ume.
The ringing of the telephone is
too quiet (loud). Has the ringer volume of the
connected telephone been
set too low (high)? Adjust the ringer volume of the
connected telephone.
