Why does a message such as consumable replacement appear?
When the consumables used by the machine are nearly empty, a warning about the replacement period ap-
pears.
Answer
Replace the displayed consumables.
The consumable is empty when a message appears, indicating that the consumable be replaced. Printing is
possible for a short time after the message appears, but the consumables should be prepared soon.
- For a toner bottle
After "Toner is low." is displayed, "There is no toner. Contact your service representative." or "Replace toner
by following the instruction and close front door." is displayed. Replace the toner bottle according to your
maintenance agreement.
- For a drum unit
When the message "Replace Drum Unit." appears, contact your service representative.
