1070 Fan assembly
Attention:
For the Lenovo G40-30, select models (computers with UMA architecture)
do not have a thermal fan.
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• “1010 Battery pack” on page 33
• “1020 Base cover” on page 34

Unplug the fan connector in the direction shown by arrow 1. Then remove the
screws 2.

Note: Be careful not to damage the connector.

When installing: Make sure that the connector is attached firmly.
