cover

or

attempt

any

repair

before

reading

was

with

your

computer.

To

replace

the

diskette

drive:

1.

Remove

the

computer

cover.

See

2.

Remove

the

front

bezel.

See

3.

Disconnect

the

signal

and

power

cables

from

the

rear

of

the

diskette

drive.

4.

Press

the

release

button

and

slide

the

diskette

drive

out

the

front

of

the

computer.

5.

Remove

the

retainer

bracket

from

the

failing

diskette

drive

and

install

it

on

the

new

diskette

drive.
