Setting Long Time Exposure

Use Long Time Exposure to control how long the shutter stays open and to
portray a sense of motion. Settings are: None, 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 seconds.
NOTE: Long Time Exposure cannot be used with Exposure Compensation or

manual ISO speed setting. For the best picture quality, Long Time
Exposure ISO speed is fixed at 100.

Set Long Time Exposure

In any Still mode, press the Menu button.

Press

to highlight Long Time Exposure

, then press the OK

button.

Press

to select an option, then press

the OK button.

Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

Take the Picture

Place the camera on a flat surface or use a tripod.

Use the camera screen to frame your subject. Press the Shutter button
half-way and hold

to set the focus. Press the rest of the way down

to take the picture.
This setting remains until you change the Mode dial or turn off the
camera.

Default flash setting: Off

Available flash settings:

Auto, Flash Off, Fill Flash, Red-eye

Camera returns to default: When you change modes or turn off the

camera.
