Super I/O Configuration
The Super I/O Configuration submenu lets you define the parameter
settings for the system’s parallel and serial ports.
Parameter Description
Serial Port 1
(Address/IRQ) Serial port 1 address and IRQ (interrupt request) setting
Parallel Port
Address Sets a logical base address for the parallel port
Parallel Port
IRQ Assigns an IRQ for the parallel port.
If you install an add-on card that has a parallel port
whose address conflicts with the onboard parallel port, a
warning appears on the screen. Check the parallel port
address of the add-on card and change the address to
one that does not conflict.
Parallel Port
Mode Sets the operation mode for the parallel port
