I cannot find an ignition output on my fusebox that goes to ground
when the engine is turned “off”
Some fuseboxes may not have an ignition output that goes to ground when the
ignitio nis turned “off”. In this case you will have to connect a 1 kohm resistor
between the positive and negative wire on the scanner. Be sure to insulate the
resistor with heat shrink tubing or electrical tape.
