•
Always cook on a stable surface.
•
The Fagor pan set distributes the heat in
such a uniform manner that it is possible
to cook practically any kind of food on a
medium to low flame. Use a high flame
only when you have to boil or boil down
liquids. To toast or to brown, heat the pan
on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes before
the food is added. Medium or medium-high
flames are suitable for frying or frying lightly.
Temperatures vary depending on the type
of cooker; you should therefore experiment
with yours in order to find the most suitable.
•
Use your pan set in a kitchen of suitable
size. If you have a gas cooker, adjust the
flame so that it does not extend beyond the
sides.
•
Never heat the pans without any food or
liquid in them as they may de damaged by
this treatment.
•
If the pan has been heated to a high
temperature, do not cool it suddenly under
cold water but let it cool down slowly.
•
Never leave the pans unattended while you
are cooking.
•
Never place this kind of saucepan in a
microwave as this could cause a fire or
other damage.
1. IMPORTANT SAFETY
RECOMMENDATIONS
•
Wash the saucepans thoroughly after use.
In this way particles of food and grease are
removed that could burn when the pans are
used again and produce stains. If you cannot
clean the pans immediately after use, fill them
with water and detergent. In this way food
remains will not stick to them.
•
Saucepans with metallic handles can be
washed in the dishwasher.
3. USE AND CARE OF
THE STAINLESS STEEL PAN SET
•
Remove the stickers or adhesive tape from
the pans.
•
Wash the pans well in a gentle dishwasher,
and rinse and dry them thoroughly.
2. BEFORE STARTING
• Saucepans with metallic handles can be
used in the oven at temperatures of less
than 200ºC.
• When taking saucepans out of the oven,
protect your hands to avoid burns.
5. COOKING IN THE OVEN
For the non-stick coating to last as long as
possible:
• DO NOT HEAT UP THE EMPTY PAN
• USE ONLY WOODEN OR HEAT-
RESISTANT PLASTIC UTENSILS
• DO NOT USE SHARP UTENSILS WHICH
COULD DAMAGE THE COATING.
Clean the inside and outside of the pan
with hot water, liquid detergent and a
sponge.
After cleaning, lightly grease the inside of
the pan with cooking oil.
• DO NOT USE ABRASIVE DETERGENTS
OR METAL SCOURING PADS
If any food becomes burned onto the pan,
soak it in hot water before cleaning it.
6. CARE OF THE NON-STICK COATING
• Let the pan cool down before adding
water to avoid splashing fat.
• Do not leave an empty pan on the heat
or allow it to heat up without liquid
in it. Continuous heating may cause
discoloration. Excessive heating may
cause the aluminium bottom to melt or
become separated from the saucepan.
4. WHEN COOKING
GB
•
To remove stubborn stains or those produced
by discoloration, use a stainless steel cleaner
and a non abrasive sponge or cloth.
•
Do not scrape with steel wool or with an
abrasive cleaner.
•
If white stains remain due to excess lime in
the water, clean the saucepan with a little
vinegar.
•
If the pan is overheated while empty, the
steel may turn black, or golden or bluish
stains may appear which will disappear with
normal cleaning.
•
Do not leave bleach inside the saucepans
in order to avoid corrosion.
