4 Make sure the Wireless Networks tab is selected, and click Add. The
Wireless Network Properties window appears.
5 Type a name in the Network name (SSID) box.
6 Click the “Data encryption (WEP enabled)” check box to select it.
7 Click the Network Authentication (Shared mode)” check box to select it.
8 Clear the “This key is provided for me automatically” check box.
9 Type a key in the Network key box. (In order for others to access your
network, you must give them the key.)
10 Click OK.
To check your connection status
1 Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon on the taskbar.
2 Click Status in the pop-up menu. The Wireless Network Connection Status
window appears.
