Changing the USB
connection setting
(USB)
Depending on the computer you are using, if
the power supply is insufficient, incomplete
data transfer may occur from the computer to
your Network Walkman. Setting the USB
connection to “Low-100mA” may improve
data transfer.

Press and hold the /MENU
button in stop mode until the
following menu screen appears.

Press U u of the 5 Direction JOG
to select “Advanced Menu” and
press
i (VOL) to confirm.

Press U u of the 5 Direction JOG
to select “USB:” and press
i (VOL) to confirm.
The USB connection setting (High-
500mA/Low-100mA) appears in [ ].

to select the desired setting and

i (VOL) to confirm.

Press and hold the /MENU
button until the screen changes.
To cancel operating the menu screen
Press and hold the /MENU button until the
screen changes.
z Tips
• When you connect the Network Walkman to a
notebook computer, connect the notebook
computer to a power supply.
• The charging time will be longer if the USB
connection setting is set to “Low-100mA”.
