Setting the Stand
When the stand is closed, open it.
1. Face down your VAIO computer on the flat surface and open the stand as in the
illustration.
Note
Slide your fingers between the computer and the stand, then open the stand.
Make sure there is no cable, etc., between the back of the screen and the stand when it
is closed.
Do not use your VAIO computer in an unstable position, such as placed on its side.
The stand can be opened easily; however, when closing the stand, additional pressure is
required. When closing the stand, see
