Preventing Electrical Interference
Connecting the AC adapter cord with a ferrite core to the computer may prevent
electrical interference. Complete the following steps to attach the ferrite core to
the AC adapter cord before starting your computer.
1 Open the ferrite core (supplied).
2 Place the AC adapter cord into the ferrite core close to the connector.
3 Wrap the AC adapter cord once around the ferrite core. The cord should run
directly through the center opening of the ferrite core.
4 Close the ferrite core tightly around the AC adapter cord until the ferrite core
locks into place.
5 With the ferrite core attached, connect the AC adapter cord to the computer.
