5.6.6 COMMUNICATION
We provide you with two settings: the RS 232 and RS 485.
1. RS-232 SETTING:
You have the option of using an ID code ( any number between 0 and 9999 ) or a Baud rate ( at
5 different levels : 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200 ).
2. RS-485 SETTING: The options are:
1. ID CODE: Use any number between 0 and 9999.
2. BAUD RATE: At the rates of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200.
3. MASTER CLOCK: Activate ON or OFF
4. RETURN: Go back to the previous page.
3. NET SETTING:
This option is used to configure the Ethernet communication settings. This is required for the
purpose of making a network connection. Please consult with a qualified MIS professional to
configure it.
NOTE:
If provided with a DHCP server, the 16CH DVR can get an IP automatically by setting
the DHCP item to ON.
