CP-20 Software Updates
In Version 1.06
1. Originally, the submaster could have the dimmer channel control of a fixture or group of fixtures
only. This feature is still retained and is also necessary to control regular dimmers. However,
added to this is the ability to record and playback a cue or a chase on a submaster.
2. Ability to program and customize your own home position (Cue 961).
3. Download and upload of the board’s memory revised to be quicker and easier.
4. Ability to completely lock out the user/operator with control lock. No more interfering fingers
screwing things up after the programmer leaves.
5. Automatic playback of a Chase or Macro when the board is turned on. Thus the board can be a
completely automated control board.
In Version 1.07
1. Extended the ability of the CP‐20’s RS232 port to address multiple input devices such as
trackballs, mice and touch pads.
In Version 1.08
1. We found a bug and fixed it. The bug was about as obscure as you could get but here it is: If you
had stored a chase and went to edit the chase and added a step with a cue that happened to
have a preset focus numbered 25 through 48, it would not store the step. Is that obscure or
what?
In Version 1.09
1. The first of two modifications in the software to help smooth out the movement of certain
fixtures, which can only be described as “more challenging to control”.
In Version 1.10
1. The second part of the modification to stop “those fixtures” from having movement problems.
2. Added the ability for the programmer to set the maximum output value of the dimmer on
submasters. This is very helpful when fixtures have their dimmer channel do more than just dim
the fixture. For instance turning the lamp “on” or “off”.
In Version 1.11

www.myelektralite.com for the Adobe PDF file which has the full database for all Elektralite
