Notes on High Sensitivity Mode
• This mode reduces effects of camera shake even for shooting under low lighting; however, when
shooting without the flash, use of a tripod is recommended. Turn Vibration reduction (
Off when using a tripod.
• Pictures taken in this mode may appear grainy as ISO sensitivity has been set to a high value.
• As the ISO sensitivity is fixed at 640 and over, proper exposure may not be obtained in clear weather
(pictures may be overexposed).
• Focus may not be precisely fixed in extremely dark places.

Functions Available in High Sensitivity Mode
• Settings can be changed for Flash mode (
A30), Self-timer (A32), Macro mode (A33) and
Exposure Compensation (
• Pressing the
d button in high sensitivity shooting mode allows you to change the settings for
all options in the shooting menu (except ISO sensitivity (
A99)).
- The Image mode (
A100) setting for High sensitivity mode can be chosen from M Normal
(2048) (default setting), N PC screen (1024), O TV screen (640) or m 16:9 (1920).
- The image mode setting in the high sensitivity mode is stored separately and is not applied to
other shooting modes.
