Press the shutter-release button to
shoot.
• Pressing the shutter-release button halfway
locks the focus, and pressing the shutter-
release button the rest of the way down
takes the picture.
• When the camera is unable to focus, the
focus area will blink. Change the composition and try pressing the shutter-release
button halfway again.

Notes when using the food mode
The flash is disabled. The macro mode (
A 31) will be locked to ON.

White balance in Food Mode
• Increasing the amount of red or blue will decrease illumination effects.
• Changing white balance in Food mode will not affect White balance in the shooting menu
• White balance setting in the food mode will be saved even when the power is turned off.
