Deleting All Photographs in Memory
To delete all photographs except those that have been hidden or
protected:

Using the zoom buttons (▲▼), highlight
DELETE in the playback menu, then press
the shutter-release button. The menu
shown at right will be displayed.

Use the zoom buttons (▲▼) to highlight
ALL and then press the shutter-release
button. The dialog shown at right will be
displayed. Highlight YES and press the
shutter-release button to delete all visible,
unprotected images. Highlight NO or BK
to return to the playback menu without
deleting the images.
Deleting Folders
To delete a folder:

Using the zoom buttons (▲▼), highlight
DELETE in the playback menu and press
the shutter-release button. The menu
shown at right will be displayed.

Use the zoom buttons (▲▼) to highlight
FOLDER, then press the shutter-release
button.

Use the zoom buttons (▲▼) to highlight
the folder you want to delete (note that
the folder name NIKON can not be
deleted) and press the shutter release
button.

In the menu at right, use the zoom buttons
(▲▼) to highlight YES and press the
shutter-release button to delete the folder
(folders that contain hidden or protected
images can not be deleted). To return to
the previous menu without deleting the
selected folder, highlight NO or BK and
press the shutter-release button.
