Set Shortcut Key
Shortcut Key allows you to select from up to 23 applications that appear in the
display when you press the left/right/up/down directional keys on the navigation key
in idle mode.
1. In idle mode, press MENU, use the right navigation key to highlight
Settings & Tools and press .
2. Press 6 ( ) Phone Settings. The Phone Settings menus are listed in
the display.
3. Press 2 ( ) Set Shortcut Key.
4. Use the navigation key to select the directional key you want to change and
press .
Note: Press 5 ( ) Reset All to return to the navigation key defaults settings. For default settings see
"Navigation Key Shortcuts" on page 39
5. Select a menu item and press .
Flip Duration
Flip Duration settings allows you to change the time interval for the Portrait to
Landscape mode. For example, when composing a message in Portrait mode, and
you want to change to Landscape mode, you can retain the previously entered text
depending on the setting selected, (3 or 6 seconds) by closing the handset and
reopening to Landscape mode.
Note: If not re-opened the message will be automatically saved to the draft folder.
