Answering a Call - Landscape Mode
When you receive an incoming call, the Incoming screen appears in the display.
1. Press the key to answer the call or the right soft key Ignore to
send the call to voicemail or the left soft key Quiet to silence the ringer.

VoiceSignal Commands - Landscape Mode
The following is a list of functions that you can perform using VoiceSignal speech
recognition on your phone.
• Call : Dial by saying a Name in your Contacts List or a Name and
a Location (home, work, mobile).
• Send : Send a picture, text, or video, message to a number
or to someone in your Contacts List.
• Lookup : Open the contact record for any name in your Contacts List.
• Go to
• Check : Provides details of your phone status, voicemail, missed calls,
time, battery level, signal strength and master volume level.
• My Account: Provide helpful information on how to use VoiceSignal. See "My
Account" on page 76.
• Help Guide: Provides a helpful tutorial on how to use VoiceSignal.
My Account - Landscape Mode
Using VoiceSignal, you can check your Verizon Wireless account status by voice
command.
Note: This features launches the browser to your account page and requires a data plan and is subject to
Verizon Wireless data coverage.
1. Open your u740 in Landscape mode.
2. In idle mode, press the key.
3. A list of commands appears in the display and the audio prompt “Please
say a command” plays through them earpiece or speakerphone—if it is
enabled.
4. Say, "My Account" at a distance of 3-12 inches from the phone in a natural
voice.
