Network Services
Call barring (SIM dependant)
Call Barring allows you to restrict specific types of incoming and outgoing calls for
your phone. This is useful if you allow someone to use your phone for a short period
of time.
Call waiting
This network service informs you when someone is trying to reach you during
another call. You can specify individual call waiting options for voice calls and/or
data calls.
To set your call waiting options:
1.
Select Call waiting and press the Select soft key or the
key.
2.
Select the type of calls, Voice calls or Data calls, by pressing the Up or
Down Navigation key and then press the Select soft key or the
key.
The screen informs you whether call waiting is activated or deactivated.
3.
Highlight Activate or Deactivate and press the Select soft key or the
key. Call waiting is then either activated or deactivated.
4.
Select the Cancel all option to deactivate Call waiting on all voice and data
calls.
Network selection
The Network Selection feature enables you to automatically or manually select the
network used when roaming outside of your home area.
Note: You can select a network other than your home network only if there is a valid roaming agreement
between the two.
To change Network Selection mode:
1.
Select Network selection and press the Select soft key or the
key.
2.
Highlight the Search now option and press the Select soft key or the
key.
3.
Press the Up or Down Navigation key until the network you want highlights
and then press the Select soft key or the
key.
The phone scans for that network and you connect.
