6.1.5 Changing the germanium glass
Germanium glass has two colours. Inside the housing
there is an anti-reflection coating that changes
colour (depending on the direction of vision). On the
outside, on the other hand, there is a scratchproof
coating to make the glass dark grey in colour. To
install the new glass refer to the next figure.

6.1.4 How to install the camera power
supply
g

Not applicable to housings with installed
cooling device.
This chapter describes how to install the camera
power supply option into the housing. There are
two types of camera power supply depending on
requirements. One model has an input voltage from
100-240Vac with an output voltage of 12Vdc, 1A.
The other has an input voltage of 115/230Vac and an
output voltage of 24Vac, 400mA.
Open the housing as in the instructions above ("6.1.1
How to open the housing", page 4).
Position the power supply in the provided seating
on the rear back cover plate of the housing. Fix the
power supply to the housing cover plate using the
supplied special support and screws.
Fig. 07
Insert the 6 pin connector of the power supply cable
in the corresponding connector on the support,
circuit shown as J5 (Fig. 06, page 5).
Close the housing by proceeding in the reverse order
to that described above.

If the circuit is powered by an external
source take care to use the correct type of
voltage and, depending on requirements,
the correct power supply kit. To assemble
the power supply option it is not necessary
to remove any pre-installed component.
