Besides the general method of selecting channels (using the
selector and the keys programmed as Zone Up/ Down and
CH/GID Up/ Down), you can select a channel by direct
channel entry.
1 Press the key programmed as Channel Entry.
2 Enter your desired channel number using the keypad.
• If no more than 9 channels have been programmed on your
transceiver, simply enter a 1-digit channel number. For
example, to select channel 5, enter “5” on your keypad.
• If up to 99 channels have been programmed on your
transceiver, enter a 2-digit channel number. For example, to
select channel 5, enter “05” on your keypad.
• If over 100 channels have been programmed on your
transceiver, enter a 3-digit channel number. For example, to
select channel 5, enter “005” on your keypad.
• Press the Side 1 key to exit direct channel entry mode.
• Press the S key to set the seleted channel.
• Press the A or # key to delete the last entered digit.
