Deleting a selected file

Enter stop mode
Press [
7/BACK].

Enter list mode
Press [LIST].

Select the file to be deleted
Press [
5]/[∞] to select an item and press [£/8] to enter. Repeat
these operations until the desired music file is displayed.
Press [
5]/[∞] to move the cursor on the file to be deleted.
✎ If the music starts to play, press [7/BACK] to stop it.

Enter File edit mode
Press [EDIT].

Delete the selected file
Press [
5]/[∞] to select “File delete” and press [£/8].
When the confirmation message is displayed, press [
5]/[∞] to select
“Yes” and press [
£/8].
■ Press [
7/BACK] to return to the previous screen page.
• If is set to , the file does not disappear from
the list even after it has been deleted. In this case, update the DB. (page 60)
