Timer settings

Press [
5] or [∞] to make selection, then press [ENTER].
~ Select “PROG. 1” or “PROG. 2”.
Ÿ Select “ON” or “OFF”.
Selecting “OFF” ends the procedure and restores the original display.
! Select the day(s) to activate the timer.
EVERYDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY,
FRIDAY, SATURDAY, MON-FRI, TUE-SAT, SAT-SUN
⁄ Select “EVERY WEEK” or “ONETIME”.
@ Set the “ON” time (start time).
¤ Set the “OFF” time (end time).
# Select “PLAY”, “AI PLAY” or “REC”.
PLAY z : Timer playback with the volume set for program timer
AI PLAY z : Timer playback with the volume gradually increased to
the level set for program timer
REC z : Timer recording
‹ Set the volume level (0 to 80) for program timer.
You cannot use the
[VOLUME
5] or [
VOLUME
∞
] to make this setting.
$ Select the input source (TUNER, CD, iPod, USB, D-IN, AUX or AUDIO-
IN).
– If you select an input source other than “TUNER”, press [ENTER] to
complete the settings.
– If you select “TUNER”, press [
5] or [∞] to select a preset number,
then press [ENTER] to complete the settings.
– If you select “REC” in step #, “TUNER” source is automatically
selected. Press [
5] or [∞] to select a preset number, press [ENTER],
then press [
5] or [∞] to select the recording sound quality (“SQ”
or “HQ”) and press [ENTER] to complete the settings.
When the settings are completed, “COMPLETE” appears and restores
the original display.

Press [ B] to turn off the power (in order to activate the
program timer).
The STANDBY/TIMER LED on the main unit lights orange. z
To turn the timer off and on
Press [TIMER] repeatedly (when the System is turned on).
Each time you press the button, the mode changes as....

Reconfigure the program timer from the beginning.
