You cannot use an iPod/iPhone by connecting to the

terminal on the System.
When connecting using a USB cable, use a USB cable whose length is less than 1 m.

Depending on the USB device being connected, it may take some time for the System to recognize

it.
If no playable files are found, playback does not start.
z
When playback resumes on a digital HDD audio player, sound may jump due to the mechanism
z
specific to HDD.
You cannot delete folders from the System.

Connect a USB device to the
terminal.

Press [USB
£¥8] to start playback.
You can also start playback on the main unit by pressing
z
[INPUT] to
change the input source to “USB”, and then pressing [
£¥8].
To change the display information
Press [ DISPLAY ] repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the display changes as....
Elapsed playing time
= Folder number/Track number = File name =
Folder name
= Title (TAG) = Artist name (TAG) = Album name (TAG) =
Day/Clock
= (back to the beginning)
Deleting the audio files from the USB device
Be aware that you cannot restore the deleted files.

Start or pause the playback of an audio file you want to
delete.
Refer to P.31 for selecting a file.

Press [CLEAR/DELETE].

Press [
5] or [ ∞] to select “DEL.OK”, then press [ENTER].
“DELETED” appears on the display and the selected file is deleted.
To cancel deleting, select “DEL CANCEL”, then press
z
[ENTER].
