Hints and tips

PocketDAB 1000 is designed to be used wherever you want.
The following advice should help you get the most from your unit.

Maximising reception

To maximise reception avoid coiling the headphone cable. The
headphone cable also acts as the aerial for your PocketDAB 1000,
for optimum signal reception allow the cable to hang freely.

Moving to a different area

When you move around with your unit you may find that you lose
reception. This may be due to entering a poor reception area or
moving out of range of a transmitter. In this case we recommended
that you perform an autotune to refresh the list of available stations,
see Autotune UK and full on pages 13 and 14 for details.

Note The autotune process will not remove existing stations from your
station list so they will be available if you move back into the area.
