15.3.2 E-Mail Menu
The E-Mail Menu allows you to configure email alert settings.
To access the E-Mail Menu, select the Advanced button, select COMM,
and then select E-Mail from the list on the left side of the screen.
• E-mail: Allows you to enable/disable email alerts. If you have the
DVR set to Motion, you will receive an email alert with an attached
image of the object that triggered the alarm.
• Sending Interval: The period in between each email alert.
• Mail Server (SMTP): The SMTP Address that is determined by the
settings of your email provider.
• Port: Determined by the settings of your email provider.
• Connection Security: Determined by the settings of your email
provider.
• User Name: Your email address that sends the emails.
• Password: Your password for the email provided in the User
Name field.
• To: The email address that receives email alerts.
• CC: Additional email addresses that receive email alerts.
Please refer to your email provider for the settings for your email
account.
