1.1 Welcome!
Thank you for buying the ASUS ® P4P800S motherboard!
The ASUS P4P800S motherboard delivers a host of new features and latest
technologies making it another standout in the long line of ASUS quality
motherboards!
The P4P800S incorporates the Intel ® Pentium ® 4 / Celeron Processor in 478-pin
package coupled with the Intel ® 848P MCH chipset to set a new benchmark for an
effective desktop platform solution.
Supporting up to 2GB of system memory with PC3200/2700/2100/1600 DDR
SDRAM, high-resolution graphics via an AGP 8X slot, Serial ATA support, USB 2.0,
and 6-channel audio features, the P4P800S is your affordable vehicle to enter the
world of computing!
Before you start installing the motherboard, and hardware devices on it, check the
items in your package with the list below.

Latest processor technology
The motherboard supports the Intel ® Pentium ® 4 processor with 512KB L2 cache and
an 800/533/400 MHz system bus. The CPU features the Intel Hyper-Threading
Technology and a new power design that allows up to 3.6GHz core frequencies.
The motherboard will also support the next generation Intel Prescott CPU when
