Component Description
(1) Vent Enables airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It is normal
for the internal fan to cycle on and off during routine
operation.
(2) Power connector Connects an AC adapter.
(3) Battery light ● Off: The computer is running on battery power.
● Amber: The battery has reached a low or critical level
or there is a battery error.
● White: The computer is connected to external power
and the battery is charged.
(4) External monitor port Connects an external VGA monitor or projector.
(5) USB port Connects an optional USB device. When this port is the
only USB port in use, it functions as a powered USB port.
(6) RJ-11 (modem) jack Connects an optional modem cable.
