3 Interoperability with other products and functions
This topic provides information about Compatible XRC interoperability with other products and
functions.
Volume sharing between Compatible XRC and other copy functions
The HP XP7 Storage system supports concurrent operations of Compatible XRC with other copy

When the Compatible XRC P-VOL and the BC Z are the same volume, you cannot use the Reverse Copy or Quick Restore
commands of BC Z.
Using two Compatible XRC pairs together
You can use two Compatible XRC pairs together to maintain three copies of data at multiple
secondary sites for disaster recovery purposes. The following figure shows the configuration in
which two Compatible XRC operations are performed. Data is copied from the primary site to the
first secondary site using Compatible XRC, and then the same data is copied from the first secondary
site to the second secondary site using Compatible XRC.
