If you select the ODBC standard trace DLL (odbctrac.dll from the Windows System
folder), only the driver manager is traced; additional trace options that you select are
ignored.
If you select the ODBC/MX trace DLL (tdm_odbctrace0300.dll or
tdm_odbctracew0300.dll
from the Windows System folder), all trace options that
you select for the client data source are considered.
4. Use the Browse button to locate the correct log file.
5. Click Start Tracing Now.
6. Click Apply and then click OK.
Perform the following steps to stop tracing:
1.
Select Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Data Sources
(ODBC)

2. Select the Tracing tab.
3. Click Stop Tracing Now.
4. Click Apply and then click OK.
