Using QuickLook
QuickLook allows you to save calendar, contact, inbox, and task information from Microsoft Outlook to
the hard drive of your computer.
▲ Press f5 when the computer is off or in Hibernation to open QuickLook. This allows you to view this
information without waiting for the operating system to restart.
NOTE: Pressing f5 will not work when the computer is on or in Sleep mode.
Use QuickLook to manage contact information, calendar events, e-mail information, and tasks without
restarting your computer.
HP DayStart is part of QuickLook, and it allows you to be immediately productive while Windows boots–
displaying important meeting and conference call details along with the battery charge state. For more
information, refer to the QuickLook and DayStart help.
