Using the hotkeys

Hotkeys are combinations of the

key (1) and either the

esc

key (2) or an action key (3).

Press

fn+esc

to display information about system hardware components and the system BIOS

version number. Depending on the application you are using, pressing

and one of the action keys

opens a specific shortcut menu within that application.

To use a hotkey command:

Press the

key, and then press the second key of the hotkey command.

Press and hold down the

key, press the second key of the hotkey command, and then release

both keys at the same time.
