About tasks
A task is a type of operation, such as changing the status of a copy pair or creating a copy pair or
copy group based on a specified schedule. Tasks are managed based on copy groups as functional

collectively known as associated tasks.
There are three methods to execute operations defined in a task:
•
Immediate execution
•
