Airplane mode
Airplane mode allows you to quickly turn off all wireless connections.
1. From the WIRELESS & NETWORKS section, tap More and tap the
Airplane mode checkbox to turn it on (a blue checkmark will appear).
2. Tap again to turn it off.
OR
1. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key and tap Airplane mode.
2. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key and tap Airplane mode again to
turn it off.
Wi-Fi Direct
Wi-Fi Direct supports a direct connection between Wi-Fi enabled devices
without an access point. Due to the high battery usage of Wi-Fi Direct, it is
recommended that you plug your phone into a power outlet while using the
Wi-Fi Direct feature.
To turn on Wi-Fi Direct:
1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > System settings.
2. From the WIRELESS & NETWORKS list, tap More... > Wi-Fi Direct.
3. Tap the Wi-Fi Direct check box to activate the feature. A blue checkmark
indicates the feature is active.
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot
You can also use your smartphone to provide a mobile broadband
connection with one or more computers or other devices. Create a hotspot
and share your connection.
