Selecting a Labeling Application Type
EDITING A LABEL
You can select six different types of labeling applications.
GENERAL
Labels printed with this mode can be used for general purposes. In this
mode you can specify the following items.
• Label Length: Auto, 1.0" (25 mm) - 39.0" (999 mm)
• Orientation:
(Horizontal),
(Vertical)
FACEPLATE
Labels printed with this mode can be used to identify various faceplates.
Block of text is evenly spaced on a single label. In this mode, you can
specify the following items.
• Label Length: 2.0" (50 mm), 1.0" (25 mm) - 39.0" (999 mm)
• # of Blocks: 1, 1 - 5
• Orientation:
(Horizontal),
(Vertical)
CABLE WRAP
Labels printed with this mode can be wrapped around a cable or wire.
In the CABLE WRAP mode, the text is rotated 90
°
counterclockwise and
printed, you can also specify the following items.
• UOM: Dia(Ø) (Custom Diameter), Length (Custom Length), CAT5/6,
CAT6e, COAX, AWG
• Value: Depending on UOM
• Repeat: On, Off
Text: Type in single or multiple lines of data
Selecting a Labeling Application Type
When the GENERAL mode is selected, you can press the Shift key and
then press the Enter key to add a new block.

When using Flexible ID Tape:
• We recommend using Flexible ID Tape for Cable Wrap labels.
• Labels made with Flexible ID Tape are not designed for use as electrical insulation.
• When wrapping labels around cylindrical
objects, the diameter (1) of the object should be
at least 0.12" (3 mm).
• The overlapping (2) ends of the label or the label
flag should be at least 0.2" (5 mm).
