Funkdatenlogger für Feuchte- und Temperatur
Allgemeine Beschreibung
Die Funkdatenlogger der Serie LOG sind autonom arbeitende Datenerfassungseinheiten für die
Speicherung von Feuchte- und/oder Temperaturmesswerten. Die Datenlogger sind wartungsfrei
und kommunizieren über eine Funkschnittstelle. Diese Kurzbedienungsanleitung beschränkt
sich auf die Beschreibung der wichtigsten Funktionen und der Installation des Gerätes. Weitere

Mechanische installation
LOG-HC2-RC-(US): Schliessen Sie den Fühler der HC2-Serie an den Funkdatenlogger an.
LOG-PT1000-RC-(US), LOG-PT1000-ET030-RC / 30-RS-US: Sind bei der Auslieferung einsatzbereit.
Installieren Sie den Funk-Logger, gemäss den nachfolgenden Empfehlungen.
Standortwahl
Für eine optimale Sende- und Empfangsreichweite ist der Standort in trockenen Innenräumen
nach folgenden Kriterien zu wählen:
• Waagerecht, frei zugänglich (nicht durch Gegenstände verstellt)
• Keine metallischen Gegenstände (Wasserleitungen, Stahlschränke, o.ä.)
• Idealerweise besteht eine «Sichtverbindung» zwischen Antenne und anzusprechendem Gerät
• Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit und Temperaturwechsel vermeiden
• Minimaler Abstand zur Empfangsantenne 1 Meter
Software installation
Die Datenlogger verfügen über einen Zugriffsschutz. Zum Freischalten der Logger muss in der
Software ein 4-stelliger Access-Code, welcher sich auf dem Funk-Logger Label befindet eingegeben
werden.
Reinigung
Zum Reinigen der Hardware weder harte noch spitze Gegenstände und keine aggressiven Reini-
gungsmittel verwenden. Dichtungen und die Gewinde dürfen nicht beschmutzt oder beschädigt
werden.
Stromversorgung
Die Energieversorgung erfolgt mittels Lithiumbatterien vom Typ AA mit 3,6 V.
Um die Batterie zu ersetzen, retournieren Sie das Gerät an eine ROTRONIC Service Stelle.

Wireless data logger for humidity and temperature
General description
The wireless data loggers in the LOG series are autonomous data logging units for storage of
measured humidity and/or temperature values. The data loggers require no maintenance and
communicate via a wireless interface. These short instructions are limited to a description of the
main functions and installation of the device. You can find further information in the ROTRONIC
HW4 software manual E-M-HW4vX-F2-021_XX, which you can download from www.rotronic.com.

Mechanical installation
LOG-HC2-RC-(US): Connect a probe from the HC2 series to the wireless data logger.
LOG-PT1000-RC-(US), LOG-PT1000-ET030-RC / 30-RS-US: Are ready for use on delivery.
Install the wireless data logger according to the following recommendations.
Choice of location
To attain an optimum transmission and reception range, the location is to be selected in dry
indoors by the following criteria:
• Horizontal, freely accessible (not blocked by objects)
• No metallic objects (water pipes, steel cabinets, etc.)
• Ideally there should be a "line of sight" between antenna and the device
that is to be addressed
• Avoid sunlight, moisture and temperature changes
• Minimum distance to the receiving antenna 1 meter
Software installation
The data loggers are equipped with access protection. To activate the loggers, a four-digit access
code, which can be found on the label of the wireless logger, must be entered in the software.
Cleaning
Do not use hard or sharp objects or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the hardware.
Take care not to soil or damage the seals and thread.
Power supply
The device is supplied with power by lithium batteries of the type AA with 3.6 V.
To replace the battery, please send the device in to a ROTRONIC service centre.
