7.2 Calibrating a Pressure-to-Current Transmitter
To calibrate a pressure-to-current transmitter (P/I), perform the following steps:
1.
Connect the calibrator and the pump to the transmitter.
2.
Apply pressure with the pump.
3.
Measure the current output of the transmitter.
4. Ensure the reading is correct. If not, adjust the transmitter as necessary.
