2. Install a length of tubing from the desired sample point to the sample port as shown below. Sample draw tubing should be
teflon 1/8 or 1/4" OD. Sample flow rates are set between 500 and 1000 ml/m.
CAUTION:
When detecting for NH3, CL2, CLO2, HF, or HCL care must be taken to avoid use of stainless steel tubing and
connections because stainless steel readily adsorbs these gases and will cause significant error in the detection process. Teflon
tubing is recommended for these applications.
3. Install a length of tubing from the vent port to an area deemed safe for vent as shown above.
