Calibration
Caution: Detcon Inc. performs the initial calibration prior to shipment. An incorrectly
calibrated value can reduce the accuracy of the product as the calibrated value is stored in
the unit. Calibration, in general, is to be performed monthly or quarterly, and can be
adjusted according to frequency of use.
Fresh Air Calibration
To enter Calibration Mode, press the Arrow key and Power key simultaneously for 3
seconds. CAL will be displayed and the
icon will blink. Press the Power key to start
calibration. A 10 second countdown will be shown while the Fresh Air C
alibration
occurs. If the calibration is successful
, the
icon will blink 3 times and the display will
return to Gas Detection Mode.
If the calibration fails, the
icon will blink continuously. Re-calibrate and if the
calibration fails again, contact Detcon to replace the sensor.
