Mounting Instructions

Model # SP-2200

Step 1: Use a lifting strap to position the spreader up against the rear of truck and level unit.

Step 2: Attach hinges to spreader with hinge pin and clip

Step 3: If bolting mark holes, drill and install with supplied hardware. Repeat for other side.

Step 1: Secure long leveling rod D5741 to spinner enclosure through bottom hole in bracket with hair pin clip through hole

Step 4: Install mounting strap on spreader and positon on on dump body corner post at a 45 degree angle if possible. Mark

and drill upper hole in corner post and bolt into position. Repeat for other side.

Step 5: If welding brackets in place then disregard bolting steps.

Step 6: Install salt shields on tailgate by tack welding in place and slowly swing gate open to make contact

with spreader top cover. You may have to trim shield slightly to allow proper gate swing. Make sure

shield will block off salt from escaping when tailgate is opened. Complete welding operation when

proper clearances are achieved.
