Model 985

– Fold the actuating lever against the

measuring foot.

– Proceed in exactly the same way to po-

sition the other three measuring feet.

– Plug the mains cable/mains unit into a

socket.

If power fails during measuring, power will

be supplied by the integrated rechargea-
ble batteries – for at least 4 hours if batter-
ies are fully charged.
Please use only the mains unit sup-
plied or mains units from the seca

range of accessories. Before plugging

the unit into the socket, check wheth-
er the mains voltage marked on the

mains unit matches local mains volt-
age.

Route cable so that it is not in contact
with the grey parts shown in the drawing.
