5. Installation of the RF20M
(EXmatic 450)
Connect the tubing for the supply air at the lower
surface of the RF20M (EXmatic 450) (A).
- Pneumatics tube = 6mm
- Air filtered (40 μm), water and oil-free
only operate with compressed air
Attach the multi-hose at the lower surface of the
RF20M (EXmatic 450) (B).
The pneumatics hoses are connected
to the RF20M (EXmatic 450) as follows.
ø 6mm blue = ø = 6mm blue
ø 6mm black = ø = 6mm black
ø 6mm red = ø = 6mm red
ø 6mm green = ø = 6mm green
ø 6mm yellow = ø = 6mm yellow
ø 4mm Blue = ø = 6mm blue
ø 4mm black = ø = 6mm black
Attach the pneumatics hoses at the
retractable fitting as follows
At the armature
Hose ø = 6mm black in connection 1 (black) for
control air "measure".
Hose ø = 4mm black in connection 3 (black) for
feedback "measure".
Hose ø = 6mm blue in connection 2 (blue) for
control air "service"
Hose ø= 4mm blue in connection 4 (blue) for
feedback "service"
At the valves
Hose ø = 6mm red at the drain valve
Hose ø = 6mm yellow at the rinsing liquid valve 1
Hose ø = 6mm green at the rinsing liquid valve 2

4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery scope
The control unit is inspected in the factory and
delivered ready for installation in a packaging which
optimally protects the control.
The delivery consists of:
• control unit RF20M (EXmatic 450)
• key for control cabinet
• operating instructions
Depending on the version you have ordered, you
also receive:
• Multi hose (installed)
• mounting angle for multi hose (installed)
Keep the control unit in the packaging. There, it is
protected best until being assembled.
4.2 Delivery inspection
Before releasing the control unit for
assembly, you must ensure that:
• packaging and unit are in an impeccable
condition.
• the identification plate of the control unit
corresponds to the data in the order form.

The identification plate is affixed to the inside of the
cabinet door!
