Prior to installation, plan your system:
1. PFAS equipment must be selected and deemed compatible with SkyMast Skyhook by a Competent
Person.
2. Eliminate or minimize all risk of swing fall.
3. Determine desired installation location for SkyMast Skyhook; ensure location is free of debris, rot,
decay, cracking, and hazardous materials. NEVER install on gable ends, facias, rake ends, overhangs,
bottom cords, collar boards, spliced sections, or substrate incapable of withstanding application
minimum loads.
Installation:
MINIMUM substrate requirements:
Wood: 3/4” CDX or better. Metal: 20g or thicker. Concrete: 2,000 p.s.i. or better.
Skyhook Anchor MUST install flush against substrate.
Skyhook Anchors may be placed a MAXIMUM 16’ apart.
Skyhook Anchors MUST be placed a MINIMUM 10’ from all leading edges of fall hazards.
Installation MUST be supervised by a Competent Person.

SkyMast Skyhook. Applicable roof pitch: 4/12 - 6/12.

SkyMast Skyhook. Applicable roof pitch: 10/12 - 12/12.
1. Place Skyhook Anchor over selected roof ridge. Skyhook Anchor must lie flush with substrate.
2. Ensure all fasteners are those supplied by Guardian Fall Protection, or are deemed compatible by a
Competent Person.
3. For installations on wood and metal, use (18 total, 9 per side) #14x10 2” screws. To avoid
possibility of splitting roof truss, do not install fasteners directly in line with each other. NEVER use
nails.
4. For installation on concrete, use (18 total, 9 per side) concrete fasteners. Fasteners MUST be
selected and deemed compatible with SkyMast Skyhook by a Competent Person.
