IDE device configurations are changed or set in the IDE Configuration menu (BIOS Menu
3). If an IDE device is detected, and one of the above listed two BIOS configuration
options are selected, the IDE configuration options shown in Section 6.2.1 appear.
Drive A [None]
Use the Drive A configuration to specify the floppy drive type installed in the system. The
floppy drive configuration options are listed below.

Halt On [All, But Keyboard]
Use the Halt On option to specify what errors detected during the power up process stop
the system.
All Errors
Whenever BIOS detects a non-fatal error the
system is stopped and the user prompted.

The system boot is not stopped for any errors

All, But Keyboard
(Default)
The system boot does not stop for a keyboard
error; it stops for all other errors.
All, But Diskette
The system boot does not stop for a disk
error; it stops for all other errors.
All, But Disk/Key
The system boot does not stop for a keyboard
or a disk error; it stops for all other errors.
Base Memory:
The Base Memory is NOT user configurable. The POST determines the amount of base
(or conventional) memory installed in the system. The value of the base memory is
