Items in the Settings menu define user-adjustable parameters.
2.2.5.1
Data Sampling
The Data Sampling parameters are used for calculating the statistics(see section 2.2.4) and for
data acquisition(see section 2.2.6.2). PC-HP uses default sampling parameters unless you set
them yourself. You can set PC-HP either to calculate the statistics for a single sample and stop
or to repeat continuously. Take data for a few seconds or a few weeks. You have the flexibility to
handle any application, from analyzing a single short pulse with high resolution to sampling
performance over a period of months.
The statistical parameters that are calculated are listed in Table 2.2.
Figure 2.9 shows the window for setting the data sampling parameters. Table 2.2 describes the
parameters. When finished setting them, click save to activate the parameters.
