WARNING
• Instrument indicates positive presence of
voltage between 50-1000VAC. Do not
assume that no indication means a dead or
de-energized circuit. Voltages below 50V may
not be detected and pose a shock hazard.
These voltages can cause serious personal
injury.
• To avoid electric shock do not operate without
battery cover in place.
• Do not use if Tester appears damaged or if the
Tester is not operating properly.
• Do not expose the unit to extremes in
temperature or high humidity or if the tester
is wet.
• 1000VAC is the maximum voltage that this
instrument is designed to detect.
• Do not use for indicating the presence of DC
power.
• Voltage detector will not read voltages through
metal conduct or the like, and will not read
through walls at a distance.
• If the equipment is used in a manner not
specified by the manufacturer, the protection
provided by the product may be impaired.
